Supporting Ventures of the Future
Samone started LikeaBoss EducationTM to bring a meaningful social impact perspective to the over commercialised VETis business. “I came from outside of the VET industry, so I think I bring a different perspective, and ask questions that people who have been involved longer than me, perhaps wouldn’t ask,” says Samone, who has also worked in the corporate – business consulting, profit for purpose, lean start up, tourism and hospitality and digital marketing sectors.
“When we consider our strategy, we constantly assess how we can add value for our stakeholders. And we do that by following our purpose, whether that be for stakeholders, the industry or most importantly the end user, students “our future leaders”.
Protecting the Core Business
As an organisation whose founding principles are built on the belief that education has the power to catalyse change, we stand ready to reflect on our role in empowering, uplifting, and equipping marginalised students, teachers and communities and will take action where we can do better.
While innovating and moving the enterprise forward, LikeaBoss also needed to protect its core product: Reducing the ‘cookie cut’ across VETis, designing a curriculum to provoke curiosity and purposeful VET programs are delivered to leave a life long learning impact.

Our programs provide equitable curriculum to students who:
- Are widely at different points of learning
- Have different learning needs
- Require flexible industry pathway programs
- Could be at risk of learning less or
- Are falling further behind as they move their way through the Australian National Curriculum
